Program Analyst
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Program Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews and analyses of acquisition-related data, including cost assessments, acquisition reviews, and milestone documentation reviews. The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork skills, a solid understanding of acquisition and cost principles, and knowledge of government contracting and lifecycle management.
Duties will include:
- Review and analyze acquisition documents to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct milestone document reviews to assess project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
- Perform detailed review and analysis of acquisition and cost data to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members to develop recommendations and strategies for optimizing acquisition and cost efficiency.
- Create comprehensive briefings and presentations for leadership, conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in acquisition processes and regulations to support informed decision-making.
- Perform detailed review and analysis of acquisition data to support decision-making processes.
- Review milestone documents to assess project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for optimizing acquisition and cost efficiency.
- Utilize knowledge of government contracting and lifecycle management to inform analysis and decision-making.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Active DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, or related field).
- 5-10 years' experience in related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and analyze complex data sets.
- Familiarity with acquisition, cost principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience in acquisition and cost analysis.
- Knowledge of government contracting regulations and lifecycle management principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Acquisition and cost database knowledge highly preferred.
